We have recently been working on a project for a busy lady who does not have the time to manage a high maintenance garden but still wanted a lovely outside space to enjoy.

To achieve this we used porcelain for the slab choice as it has many advantages over an Indian Sandstone. Porcelain is very easy to keep clean and being a non porous product will not soak up water or other elements. Combined with the porcelain paving, it was decided to go for a rendered block work walling for the planters. This will allow a nice variety of planting in the garden without the worry of it becoming uncontrollable. To finish the low maintenance approach and to also add some colour to the installation, a good quality 42mm pile astro turf was installed.
